Meet Michel in 67.3 Seconds (fasten your seatbelts…)

When I won a National Championship Title in Karting at the age of 19, I didn’t know this would deeply influence my life. I learned a few things that would change me forever.

I learned to take calculated risks, to be competitive, resilient, stress resistant, committed and trustful to my team. Even more so when the external conditions were dangerous.

I learned that to win a championship you don’t need to win all the races but you need to be quick and consistent in your efforts and performance as well as focused on your goal.

I learned that Performance and Mastery comes from lots and lots of Training and Testing.

In retrospect, my 20 years as an Executive spent with Private Equity funds were years focused on winning the “Business Race”. My job was to put the Businesses “Back on Track to Lead the Pack” by building great strategies and great teams to execute them.

Eight times in a row I had to reinvent the Businesses, drive change and lead turnarounds, M&As and transitions. All were followed by strong and profitable growths.

This is rare. Life doesn’t assign you such jobs by accident. Investors even less so…
